1. When chains acquire properties, they erect barricades of 800 numbers manned by poorly equipped, poorly trained personnel who seem to only care about delivering the canned script and are not empowered (I'll give them the benefit of the doubt) to actually problem solve and offer customer service -- not pretend customer service, but actual customer service.

2. I was then transferred to Kirk, who identified himself as the night manager and he told me that the hotel is not fully staffed at night and that is what caused the problem.

7. I had a problem when I arrived because I didn't get a suit as I always have with any Marriott as a platinum member, couldn't been professionaly fixed by the front desk.

8. In either case no appeal could fix the problem, but at least the front desk reversed the extra charge for the roll-away at check out.

9. We arrived before the check in time, however Natalie at the front desk was very helpful to give us a room before it, since my boyfriend had a problem with his eye contacts and needed to change them.
