It was so well appointed, clean and comfortableAs has been said on the site before the food is
pricey
so we gave that a miss but the hotel and staff(especially the concierge ) were all first classIt's history was a bonus and it's proximity to all of Washington sights was fabulousAll in all a great place to start our trip.

The hotel restaurant is
pricey
, but there are SO many restaurants within walking distance, we rarely eat there other than an occasional Sunday brunch.

Cost: As for cost, it was
pricey
but you get what you pay for and being a simple individual, I don't see the need to travel like that everywhere I go, although it was nice to experience the 'white glove' atmosphere.

My friend and I had a few beers at the lobby lounge which were pretty
pricey
but there are some Pubs just down the street that were nice and had reasonable prices.
