I was mildly concerned about the lack of a swimming pool and the fact that it was categorized as a 'business' hotel, but my

s were unfounded as there were many families there and we did not feel out of place at all.

ed some of the more recent reviews of the hotel on this site--almost switched my reservations--and found the Mayflower to be a terrific hotel for our group (ages ranged from 10 to 75).
