This hotel is in a prime location, if you are traveling with kids, there is a McDonalds a block away on either side and then a food court maybe 2 blocks away, the metro system is on the corner right beside the hotel, the wax museum is a couple of blocks down, there is a Macy across the street and a Forever 21 in the back of it for shoppers like me.

5. There's a Macy;s that covers an entire block right across the street and several good restaurants near by.

6. The only annoying factor at the Marriott is the $6 per 20-minute charge for Internet in the business center, but breakfast is excellent at Hattie's down the street at the Harrington hotel and they have free Internet.

7. Walk out the door and the valet will bring your car (it is mandatory unless you want to find parking on the street yourself - good luck with that) or you can turn left and walk a few steps to the Metro.
