8. I wanted to stay on the Gold Floor--definitely money well spent in my opinion, but my travelling companion wasn't interested in the upgrade:( However, i took a quick walk through the Gold Floor, and the breakfast looking amazing.

10. Note: The staff will often point you to the 'Foggy-Bottom' Metro station on the Blue/Yellow lines; however, walking from 'Dupont Circle' station on the red line is still only a 10 minute walk and may save you some money instead of hopping on the Metro to only go a short distance.
