When-ever we are in North America we try and stay in a fairmont hotel and the washington did not dissapoint, the service was first class, the rooms were spotless, roomey with every comfort imaginable, the restaurant and lounge areas were spacious with beautiful decor, this is the 9th Fairmont we have had the pleasure to stay in and it is right up there at the top.

3. We loved the attentive valet service (and we were in and out quite a bit), the prompt and accurate room service, the large and sunny room (well appointed and lovely cape-cod style decor) and excellent staff attitude overall.

6. After returning back to the hotel very late that nite, we even crashed a wedding on the premises that was absolutely stunning in its decor and with so much late nite snacks and coffee bar offerings left, we just could not pass it up.
