The hotel itself is spectacular--we had adjoining suites (it turned out we had the corner suite, the biggest one, though we never thought to ask for it) with a fabulous view inside and out--rooms open onto balconies overlooking the atrium to a 3-story mall (Chevy Chase Pavilion) where we could eat dinner and shop.

3. Pool on the top floor was great: well attended by staff to minimize the 'rowdy's' and a fantastic large hot-tub which had an excellent view to watch kids in the pool (Mommy thanks you!).
