1. Things I like included the terrace outside of my room, where we would go to enjoy our coffee in the AM, and the large tub I had in my bathroom.

2. The weather was warm but not scorching hot, The hotel is very nicely appointed and they have bellhops to help you with luggage, golf clubs, etc. The rooms are very nice - spacious - but have no microwave or refrigerator (certainly something we have come to expect in a nice resort).

3. Shout out to Trini who kept our room so very comfortable and sparkling clean, Alex who served up great drinks and recommedations for things to do, Steve who treated us like royalty at the pool, Victoria and Donna at the Concierge desk, Donald the hotel manager who helped us at check-in, and all the friendly staff.

6. The rooms are good-sized with nice beds, flat screen TVs, robes, desk, etc. My mountain view room (#4215) was an upgrade but I believe the only difference is size.

7. Standard rooms are sizeable with a nice seating area, huge soaking tub, and roomy covered balcony.

8. Again on the positive side, there are relatively large, clean rooms with comfortable beds and an outside deck (and a free Keurig coffeemaker with supplies).

9. We were treated to a wonderful room with views out of the back of the hotel to the waterfall and the desert beyond and this is definitely the highlight of the Loews, its fabulous location straight onto the desert.

10. Also the pool staff were friendly and constantly helpful and the gentleman who took us to our room on arrival, who was really welcoming and friendly.
