1. It is right off 101 with 2 gas stations nearby and a Dinner and Fast Food place within walking distance.

2. If you want to run or take long walk, best bet is to stay on the ocean at or near the Fess Parker Doubletree.

3. We went to Goleda beach, which doesn't require freeway driving and had a very nice walk along the beach and out along the fishing pier.

9. The hotel is housed in a series of buildings so you have to walk outside (not far but kinda wierd), get to your particular building and swipe the security pass.

10. Please note that this hotel is in the Goletta area which is a 45 min bus ride from downtown Santa Barbara - however there is a bus stop located within a 10 minute walk of the hotel plus going to/from the airport or train station the hotel offers free shuttle service.
