1. Close to 'turnpike' shopping centre including Vons supermarket and diner (would recommend Vons as well - staff and manager there are excellent).

3. So I called the manager, and he was quite nice and let me switch to a different room -- it was a nice room facing the lagoon -- yeah, right, didn't your receptionist tell me just yesterday that there was no room facing the lagoon for the next 5 days.

8. I cannot forget to thank Drew Wakefield, manager, whom just called to see how my wine tasting trip went (thanks Grapeline Wine Country Shuttle, best driver/trip EVER!xoxo); and offered up very useful advice on the best place to take in Santa Barbara, since I'd never been.
