1. It had an enclosed patio (I want to say we were in Violet-?) and was decent, but for the price I expected more luxury.

3. At this price, it must come from one of those politically correct organic California artisanal beef farms where they give the bovine counselling before sending them to be butchered.

8. The reservation clerk sounded positive and said she would check, but then came back saying that it was likely that they would be able to sell the cottage so we'd have to pay full price if we wanted it.

9. Since the hotel was renovated a few years ago, the prices, have not surprisingly, shot up and our room, including the pet deposit and taxes was over $2000 per night.

10. We needed a short getaway, close to home, so we decided to treat ourselves to the three night for the price of two package in one of the stuctures that dogs are allowed to stay.
