1. Tried to re-enter room keys didn't work; thought I was being kicked out; went to front desk reprogrammed key; no explanation, no apologies; had to leave all of my stuff outside of room until resolved; room was clean, bathroom small but nice; needed to print something out; Howard Johnson's next door allowed me to use their computer that's free for their guest, by the way.

3. (we chose Denny's down the street instead) my only complaint would be design wise, I had a 2 and 3 year old with me and they thought it would be entertaining to turn the lights off while in the bathroom :/ the area of the hotel did have a few strip clubs around but just driving around San Diego there were strip clubs everywhere.

When we got to the room we found the carpet to be filthy; bedding to be nasty; laundry room to have rubbish everywhere; bathroom to be usable (but that's the extent of it); jacuzzi filled with bubbles; pool having to be cleaned because other hotel guests poured something in it; and a woman who appeared to be participating in 'adult entertainment' in an upstairs bedroom.
