The
price
was very reasonable, but we were a little unsure if we would still get to see San Diego even though we werent staying in the Gaslamp districtThe location is a little way away from all the activity of the Gaslamp, but it was a really nice calm part of townWe got around by catching buses and as there was a bus stop right outside the hotel it made getting around SD so easy.

Considering the reasonable
price
, other than the condition of the bathroom, I thought the hotel was good otherwise.

Even though I arrived at midnight, I still refused the room and found exceptional accommodations nearby for the same
price
.

Anyway, think the Dub-U or one of those hip little South Beach hotels - at about half the
price
, but for my money better.

The presentation, taste, and ingredients are all something you would expect to see on a plate at a fine dining restaurant, but the
price
s can't be beat by comparison.
