1. BUT DO CHECK OUT SMALL BATHROOM REPAIRS SUCH AS BENT SHOWER RODS, WORN BATHROOM FLOOR TILES, TUBS THAT HAVE THE PORCELAIN WORN OUT(MAYBE TIME FOR LINERS?) ALSO, DON'T FORGET TO REPLENISH THE H2O SPA BATH PRODUCTS ONCE THEY ARE GONE.

2. Larger hotels can definitely take a lesson from these folks as they are clearly doing something right and I encourage you to check out The Pearl during your next visit to San Diego.

6. I stated at time of check that "I never wanted to leave" and once check out took place, we ended up spending the rest of our day at The Pearl.

7. From check in to check out (and at all points inbetween) the staff couldnt have been more genuinely helpful or nice - owner, manager, bar staff, check in person etc. Plus the rooms were great, the scene around the bar and the pool a perfect mix between super relaxed and funky.
