1. It is a short drive to Sea World, the Zoo and local beaches.

2. The location is very convenient - it is next to the golf course, a couple of minutes to Fashion Valley Mall and a very short drive to anywhere in central San Diego including Old Town, Downtown, Mission Bay and the beaches.

6. Hopefully when in San Diego you are relaxing on the beaches or eating at some great restaurants so stay at a decent hotel like the Crowne Plaza and save a little extra cash.

7. The Crowne Plaza Mission Valley is a large hotel with many rooms, but its decor is based on a Hawaiian tiki theme that seems like it's out of a 1960's beach movie.
