5. The room was of a good size, clean with all the facilities we required but the furnishings seemed rather dark, with dark wood furniture and even with the patio windows open still seemed a little gloomy.

6. We walked through lovely gardens but were pleased we had booked a bay front room as it seemed rather dark in some of the garden area rooms and I wondered just how much sun some of the rooms actually got.

7. did not use the pool or hot tub but did get a stone massage in their spa which has a wonderful steam room and sauna.
