1. They kindly upgraded our room to a bay view suite (we were on the second floor but I'd recommend requesting the first floor so you can walk out directly to grass and beach from your patio).

10. For great, cheap food, we also recommend La Playa Taco Shop (3973 Mission Blvd) -- try the pozole and the HUGE serving of horchata.
