7. Within walking distance to the Amtrack/Coaster train, the marina area to see the Midway, Horton Plaza for shopping, and lots of restaurants, this downtown location is great.

8. The parking charge is a little steep at thirty two bucks a day but what are you going to do and I doubt the other four star hotels in downtown are much cheaper so is not that big of a deal.

10. Another nice area to stay in would be La Jolla - gorgeous upscale area about 1/2 hour away from downtown on transit but not sure how much rooms would be out there.
