1. Streets, however, are not that all pleasant to walk specially in Sunday (when the majority of things was closed) or late at day, after 7 pm, and you can see lots of people begging for money and living in the streets.

2. The hotel was in a good location, close to bus and transit, within walking distance to numerous resturants and a seven eleven with liquor was right outside, the mall wasnt too far and depending how far you would like to walk, you can walk all the way to the water.

5. The official conference hotel was the Marriott Marquise, but I figured it was better for me to be 10 minute walk away from the crowd surrounding me during the conference.

6. There is a small grassy area on the north side of the hotel property, across the trolley tracks, to walk your dog, and a convenient trash receptical sits at the corner.

9. Excellent location if you want to be downtown, right next to the Gaslamp area, within walking distance to the harbor, one block from the trolley that takes you everywhere, including to Quallcom Stadium, (connect through Old Town).
