1. But the room was comfortable, pretty, had an adequate sized bathtub (which a lot of hotels don't) and internet that worked perfectly.

But some of the details, like a funky and clearly worn-down bathtub, the bizarre hall carpeting, and the early morning work in the wall next to the room (not to mention the worker making out with his girlfriend in the elevator), gave this place a `trying to make it` vibe rather than `got it together`.

3. While an older building, the paint is fresh and everything is clean, but the bathtub looked liked it belonged in a $40 a night hotel, complete with missing chunks of coating.

4. The bathtub is also one of those teasers with the slanted back begging you to lay back, if only the tub wasn't so close to the wall that there's nowhere to put your neck and head.

8. They were also helpful with incoming and outgoing faxes ($3 for first page, $1 each additional page coming or going)The rooms are comfortable, but clearly show signs of wear on the furniture and bathtub.

9. Free wifi, large LCD, a nice desk to work at, etc. There are definitely a few things that weren't great with my stay: - The drains in the bathtub and sink were not working very well.
