3. We were able to get downtown in minutes and it was a quick drive to places like Sunset Cliffs, Mission Beach, La Jolla and Torrey Pines.

4. Location could not be better for a family - safe, quiet, clean, spectacular views, small beach across the street, lots of green grass to run on, enjoyed walking on the waterfront park with the playground.

5. We didn't have a car so it was good to be able to walk to the bus--with some pre-planning (see MTS website) we could get to most tourist sites within an hour, like Mission Beach, Sea world & Balboa Park.
