Hotel staff is pleasant and efficient, rooms are improving, elevators are quick, and the location is excellent as it is ON the Riverwalk, next door to the Fig Tree and Little Rhein restaurants (REALLY GOOD), close to Shilo's deli (CHEAP AND GOOD), across the street from the convention center and a short walk from the Alamo.

10. If you get bored, the Rivercenter Mall is across the street with plenty of stores and a movie theatre.
