6. Yes, the location is good and the Alamo is right across the street, but with so many much nicer hotels very nearby (some for significantly less money), I`d recommend that you stay somewhere else.

8. If you are trying to watch your money more closely, I'd suggest staying out a little ways and driving into the area.
