1. Our room was on the 4th floor - it was beautifully decorated, the two queen beds were very comfortable with quality sheets and pillows.

3. first the pillows were mishappen bulbous grotesque pillows that on appearence looked like pillow cases stuffed with dirty laundry a bulbous mass of lumps so much that the pillows cases struggled to resemble a pillow at all >>>>> very dissapointing!the depleted faded brown( i think it was at at one time )bed spread was wrinkled in such a way as to look like it had been used allready prior to my arrival i could see the wrinkles looked lik the shape of a personthe dingy dull curtains were badly torn with a horizontal rip extending 15 inches and was amaturely sewn with what appreared to be kite string or a thick twine and was just plain nasty the 15 year old outdated tube tv had a terrible picture very dissapointing the smell of the chemicals possibly the cleaning chemicals insecticides that were heavily overused to probably mask something made it allmost impossible to stomach a room service meal the chemical smelling room was detectable when tasting the food durring the proccess of eating so i strongly advise you eat only in a restaraunt i dont think the food was bad but the room chemical smell made it taste that way on another note the bathroom was a pill box not fun to manage its very cramped in addition when i first encountered this terrible room i imediatly contacted concierge and they said they wood supply new pillows and a room change i said that i would accept the pillows gratefully and look forward to the room change the pillows arrived not in a timely manner and the following day the room replacement was never executed with no explanation of why at this point it was obvious what i was dealing with.

Now for the pluses: Tempur-pedic mattresses, a huge variety of pillow types to suit a variety of sleepers, Speakman shower head, room darkening shades, complimentary tea & cookies in the lobby in the afternoon, a big bowl of Washington apples available all day & night, wine tastings in the cellar in the evenings, gorgeous lobby & bar, fabulous staff & service.

7. I found the touted Tempur-Pedic bed comfortable, and in my room at least I was given six different pillows that all seemed slightly different in firmness, so I could pick the one best suited to me.
