1. The parking lot had an attendant all night which was nice but $23 on top of the cost of the less then mediocre room should tell you something about the area.

Pros: the hotel was very clean and comfortable, the shuttle to the historic area was very convenient especially since parking anywhere downtown is a huge pain, breakfast was great, the staff was friendly even when a whole group of high school students flooded in to the lobby (he handled things very well), facing the river offered both a nice view and a bit quieter room.

8. As we are used to the high prices for parking in Philly, I didn't think the $23 was outrageous since if you are driving you need to park somewhere and none of the lots are cheap for overnight.
