2. We found the adjacent parking lot, with in-and -out privileges very convenient and the $23 price more reasonable than other downtown parking facilities that did not offer the same benefits.

Pros: the hotel was very clean and comfortable, the shuttle to the historic area was very convenient especially since parking anywhere downtown is a huge pain, breakfast was great, the staff was friendly even when a whole group of high school students flooded in to the lobby (he handled things very well), facing the river offered both a nice view and a bit quieter room.

CONS:- Rooms smell of smoke- The windows won't close - so the wind and sound of freeway requires earplugs to partially block sound (not kidding)PROs:- Lobby has a small 6 stool bar opened at happy hour that reminds me of some of the little hotels in Europe- free continental breakfast- proximity to downtown and business - I noticed a lot of construction workers staying here too - probably because of the low price- appeared to have securit guard for parking lot (not sure if he was there at night)I travel with earplugs and this was just bearable.
