One great example: the morning of our breakfast event, everything went off flawlessly, the event manager was there to meet me, the staff for the breakfast was super nice and brought extra food and chairs when more folks showed up than we had planned, and all before 7 a.m. Another great example: on my last day, after I had been busy with clients, our trade show booth, and coordinating client events for 4 straight days (and probably looking a little frazzled as I tried to get my luggage together to catch my cab to the airport), one of the bellman took care of my bags, offered me a bottled water and got me into a cab which whisked me off to the airport.

7. Maureen the on duty manager initially advised that because it was New Year's Day housekeeping was starting late so as to not bother the guests too early.

9. Once again, must have been short staffed because a hotel security guard and hotel manager were waiting tables along with maybe 1 or 2 actual wait staff.
