1. As for the room, well, it was large enough, we had a king size bed, and the decor was nice and it was certainly clean.

3. A couple of tips for families: drive to the zoo (we loved the zoo but regretted our public transportation adventure) and try Marathon Grill, a Philadelphia chain with a location 2 blocks from the hotel - trendy decor but suitable for kids with an upscale diner-like menu.
