1. They all seemed to really go out of their way, from the waiter we rode the elevator with who told us about the free concert a couple blocks away to our maid who kept our room spotless to the desk clerk who spent time chatting with my 2 teenagers in the lobby and made them feel so special.

3. As it does date from the 1920's, the rooms are a bit smaller than comparable Hiltons, but the staff is friendly, it is recently redecorated, and I have no complaints, other than the maid was stingy with giving out the Soap.
