1. The Dauphine as our home base was perfect, far enough from Bourbon Street to be quiet at night but close enough to all the places in the Quarter that we love to visit and can reach on foot.

10. My recommendations for families travelling to New Orleans is to stay at the Dauphine Orleans, take the Haunted History tour (loved that!), go to the wonderful bookstore across the street, ride the trolley down St.
