1. We checked out the lobby and it's beautiful but we were still happy with our decision since the sonesta is right in the middle of all the nonsense.

2. The bellsman acted very rude and aggitated, there was a couple of elderly people in the lobby with luggage asking the clerk for some help with their luggage, she told them to talk to the bellsman and he would help them, at this point the bellsman walked in the lobby and the clerk asked him to help with the guest with their luggage, he replied I'll help anyone who needs help as he walked out the door, with the clerk steadly calling him back.

5. (Don`t get me wrong, I stay in Marriotts all the time but a city like New Orleans deserves something a little different) If you need room service and a big lavish lobby look elsewhere.
