1. We had a standard King Room which had plenty of space, well appointed for the business traveler with good WIFI coverage for the couple of business telecons I had to make.

I wanted the ambiance to be authentic New Orleans style, a stately old historic place with gas lamps still in use outside and the warmth of a 200 year old mansion, yet I wanted it to be new enough to have soft comfy beds, wireless internet, a beautiful courtyard and the the modern amenities like a big screen TV .
