1. One time I had a parking fee added to my bill even though I've never had a car rental while staying at the hotel, but the billing staff removed the charge issue promptly without fuss.

2. We made our New Year vacation plans relatively late (October), so when it was time to reserve a hotel, my fear was that we would be scraping the bottom of the barrel, and pay a steep nightly fee for being tardy for the party.

3. Valet parking was an additional cost - we paid more $5 more than a car because we drove a Jeep (SUVs have a larger fee)I would DEFINITELY go right back to this hotel when staying in New Orleans.

We used to live in New Orleans and came back for a small family reunion; we usually avoided the Quarter because it was too expensive and basically not worth it; but this time we wanted to have the 'experience' and found the Maison Dupuy which gave us a great rate and 1/2 the daily parking fee (look for the deals); the room was small but nice and the bed was really great; the hotel ambiance was perfect and the staff made us feel welcome and provided everything we needed; the pool area was also really nice (especially for N.
