1. When I called two days before my arrival asking if they would put me on a high floor I was told it was usually an upgrade so I asked them to be on the highest floor available where I wouldn't have to pay extra at which point they accomodated me from 5th floor to the 27th on the river tower so we had partial views of Mississipi river :) Elevators arrived quickly and offered an express ride to your floor and beds and pillows were comfortable.

2. Pillow-top mattresses are great when they are new, but they need to be tossed once they are permanently indented.

5. Because this is a Marriott, I was expecting the super awesome down pillows that they normally have, but this location just had regular pillows that were too firm for my liking.

6. If I run out of something like coffee, or need an extra towel, pillow whatever, they jump through hoops to help me out and never a scowl as some suggested.
