There was a Starbucks in the lobby, a gift shop that also sold water and snacks, although we found the water was cheaper from the vending machine on our floor; the bar in the lobby had happy hour from 5pm to 8pm from which they had 5 appetizers and 5 different drinks for $5.00 each, good deal when we just needed to rest from our busy day of sight seeing.

10. Booked the Marriott for only $70 on Priceline, which is a terrific deal for such a nice hotel in the middle of New Orleans.
