1. My husband went out the next morning and fed the meter until we checked out, and it was significently less than the thirty dollar valet parking fee.

2. Parking is only by valet, and the fee is a bit steep ($30) but that's pretty standard in downtown hotels in major cities.

4. Since we didn't have a car, we did not have to pay the parking fee, so I guess we saved a ton there.

5. Also, there are no hotel shuttles anywhere, so when I needed a cab to get to my other hotel, they charged us a flat fee of $10, I think that's what it was, even though it would have been cheaper if I had them drop me off at the restaurant next door, then it would have only cost $5.
