6. This was surprising, since it had so many things going for it beyond its reputation: a) excellent location in the CBD, just steps from the Quarter but removed from its noise & frenzy -- and an easy stroll in the other direction to the Warehouse/Arts districtb) very courteous, polite staffc) stylish lobby & groundsd) all 'public' guest facilities (ice machines, business center, convenience store, pool/fitness center) available and in working orderThere were, however, a number of shortcomings I wasn't entirely able to overlook:a) a rather shopworn appearance of some of the rooms (mine) and corridorsb) lack of sufficiently hot shower waterc) housekeeping knocking at 8:00a (!)d) no balcony rooms as reserved (not a huge issue at all, just somewhat of a disappointment)e) front desk touting '24-hour room service,' but the property book indicating 7:00a - 11:00p.
