1. We were recommended the Columbian restaurant across the street, but the food was not very good so I do not recommend it.

5. One of my favorite restaurants in Miami is La Carreta and there is one less then 5 miles away, The Versailles (also Cuban) right across the street from La Carreta.

9. There is a bus stop right across the street from the hotel which takes you to Miami beach (take the J bus), then you'll have to get off and transfer onto one of the other buses (C or H or several others) which takes you down to South Beach.

10. There were no toothbrushes in their vending machines, they wouldnt open the gift store to sell me one, and they directed me to the gas station across the street to buy one-- and it was very late at night.
