1. One recommendation: There's a parking lot just across the street which is free, so you don't have to rely on the valet pricing at the hotel.

4. don't listen to anyone who tells you that you MUST do valet, there is PLENTY and I mean plenty of street parking down the block on Loyola Blvd and since we didn't mind walking we parked there all the time and it was just fine for us.

9. The staff was surly and unhelpful and there is nothing like watching someone who walked in off the street with no prior booking pay $50 per night less than you do when you're with a group who booked months in advance.

10. From the front desk, they reccomend valet parking - 22usd/night, but we parked the car across the street in a free public parking - was no problem for 3 nights.
