4. The location is undeniably great - two blocks to the Beverly Center, about six blocks to the Grove and there is an amazing number of good local restaurants within walking distance - try the Kings Road Cafe for a fabulous latte and delicious breakfast or Swinger's Diner for just about anything.

8. Both nights we ate at the Mandarette Chinese restaurant on the other side of Beverly Boulevard - normally I like to try different places but it was so good and so convenient.
