1. In addition to breakfast, we had a dinner in the bar: outstanding fish and chips (and we were eating with people from Brighton, England, so they knew f&c), solid burger.

5. loved the courtesy car shuttle which will bring you within 3 miles, we went to LA LIVE staples centre and they dropped us off 1 block away and called after dinner for a rideback which was fantasticwe walked about 3-4 blocks to the subway which was very convenient (1.50$ one way or 5$ a day) and brought us to Hollywood/highland where all the Tours departed and where the action wasIf you are planning on doing Touristy things I would not recommend downtown LA area unless you have a car.

7. We thought it was well located above California Plaza where there are numerous eateries for breakfast and lunch, a good convenience store for water and other consumables and a great bar for dinner.

There is a complimentary car service, which took me to my dinner destination after getting a recommendation and reservation from the friendly concierge, and I came back to find my turn-down service had been handled--my bed was remade, my ice bucket was filled, another bottle of spring water was left, and the bathroom was tidied.
