5. Overall, I would recommend going to Fort Zachary Taylor Park which has a public beach and more public activities to do.

6. The pool area is lovely as well, with a pretty waterfall and laid back atmosphere, where the drinks and appetizers are delicious (I highly recommend the stuffed shrimp!) and the wait staff friendly and accommodating.

10. Bistro 245 serves up some really good breakfast and lunch - I'd recommend grabbing a bite there during your stay since it's so convenient.
