My daughter's suite appeared nice, however had a strong sour stench noticeable upon opening the door, thought maybe it was from cleaning and would improve when we returned from dinner, it was still very overpowering and we notified the manager who told us that she could send houskeeping to deodorize or move her to another floor, my daughter opted to see if deodorizing would help first and then move if not.

2. One couple with us complained and were also moved to a suite which cooled off fine, another couple had bought a fan while out because they needed the noise to sleep as well.

3. Left for dinner, and upon returning several hours later, we found the suites to be cooling off better, a least by a couple of degrees--76.

4. I asked to speak to manager and repeated the above story to her and requested another room, she offered me one beside our friends with the fan, whose room was no cooler either and I asked for a different wing/location, and was put beside my son's suite.

5. Two of the five rooms had been upgraded to king suites upon check-in, due to no doubles available because of the convention.

6. My daughter, whose suite with the stench, found a hole in the carpet and could see old carpet beneath the present carpet, and many rooms had multiple visible water stains on the doors, walls, etc. She was eventually moved to a suite on another floor.

7. We were in a suite on the 9th floor and did not hear a thing.
