1. I would not classify this as a value destination - Valet parking really not needed - WLAN only available at extra (too extra) cost - bed too soft - But - Staff excellent, location super and overall atmosphere soothing and restful.

5. The highest three floors are 'Concierge' floors, which provide breakfast and other 'complimentary' food but these Concierge Rooms cost extra, so for us not having this worked out OK since we dined out at some pretty nice Houston area restaurants.

8. Even with in-out driving, you will pay half the cost of Marriott's valet and there is a second level indoor connection between the Marriott and the Scurlock Tower garage.

9. Taking an airport shuttle service to this Marriott would have been cheaper than renting the car which we never moved and which cost me 22 bucks a day for valet parking.
