1. Since I have been by myself, I feel more comfortable not having to go to parking lots by myself.
"Excellent value for well appointed rooms, great staff, and a good free breakfast! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/19/2009 Vote
2. There's a parking lot right next to the hotel that is only three dollars a day--much more reasonable than the 16 dollars to park in the hotel's lot.

3. I booked the Hampton Inn and Suites Downtown after checking out the online pics and was surprised at the low rate of $119 for a king rm for the location (compared to Sheraton, Hyatt, etc) We were very happy with the location, and we were able to park for free right on Sherman St in front of the hotel for most of the weekend, avoiding the $18 a day valet parking fee.
"Great price, great location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/14/2008 Vote
4. We were able to park our car on the street overnight without any charge, and just needed to move it or put money in the meter before 9am.

5. It is costly to park any where in downtown denver but this is true for any metropolitan area.

7. Another good thing about the hotel location is that I visited Denver on the weekend and I was able to park my rental car on the street for free rather than paying the $20 valet at the hotel.
