1. We asked the concierge Anthony for some suggestions; I don't think I have ever encountered someone so friendly and knowledgeable at any hotel I have stayed at; and my husband and I travel a lot within North America and Europe.

2. Our bags were taken directly to lobby and as we checked in we were introduced to the concierge who handed us a welcome note (great touch) and he led us to our room on the eighth floor.

6. I don't know if the staff has daily training on arriving guests or they just have a naturally great staff, but from the front desk to the concierge to bartender and Bolla waitstaff they provide great service with a smile and most seem to know me by name.

10. I asked about the history of the hotel and if I could see some of the older areas in the penthouse, and the concierge took me for a 20 minute tour of the penthouse common areas as well as the two grand suites.
