1. Right across the street we recommend the Terrace Cafe with Breakfast(omelets,red Velvet waffles and Smores french toast,& great coffee), Lunch, and Dinner(fresh fish,fried chicken, and regional food) as well as some shops and other dining choices.

2. Across the street in Ballantyne Village are plenty of restaurants and bars should you tire of the cuisine offered and guests at the hotel.

3. While not in downtown Charlotte, there is a outdoor mall which is located just across the street.

4. I was there for 1 night, but I can also tell you that there is a few places to eat across the street because every place outside of Nyc has there own community of shops and restaurants.

8. We had a drink in the bar, but did not eat at the restaurant as Ballantyne Village is just directly across the street and has many choices.

9. Guestrooms are large and very attractive, however our room, like half the hotel, faces a shopping center across the street, which is not a great resort-style view.
