1. The location is so close to all the Pearl Street attractions, the building is historic and beautiful, they have a great bar and restaurant (the bar has a terrific happy hour with half price food as well- and the food is delicious and fresh) and they have a business center with enough computers for everyone, free high speed access, free printing and pens, stapler, tape, scissors etc. For those who need an office away from home, it's perfect.
"Great location, friendly service, comfortable beds, delicious food " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/3/2010 Vote
2. Not only was the room priced too high for the actual roughness of the room (by the way, it was in the newer wing), but for the price you'd expect the room to be above-average.
"Priced too high and rough on the edges " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/13/2009 Vote
3. At this price range, I expect better products in the rooms and higher quality decor and TV.

4. I think the price premium was related to the location and hotel character.

5. The St Julian is much nicer for the price.
"Great Service- Do not stay in the new section of hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/6/2012 Vote
6. The entire tea took over 3 hours, which was ridiculous considering it was weekly brewed tea, dry scones, a plate of cookies, and some slices of bread with egg salad on it, with a price tag of over $40 a person I will take my business elsewhere.
"May be pretty but DON'T eat here. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/21/2011 Vote
7. Food was quite expensive but they had sufficient crowds so I guess they can command the prices.
"Olde time ambiance. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/19/2011 Vote
8. However the rooms are getting slightly dated now and while the beds are elegantly appointed the plumbing has a late 80s feel and I'm not sure we can justify the price we paid for a suite.
"Nice location and good service but not value for money " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/28/2011 Vote
9. Julien and the Boulderado are about the same price per night, you can choose what style you prefer - vintage or modern - and be secure knowing you will have a lovely experience either way.
"A beautiful old hotel, perfectly located! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/26/2011 Vote
10. And the hotel's Corner Pub is a great place for Happy Hour, with wine and appetizers at value prices.
"Excellent hotel in heart of Boulder " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/17/2010 Vote
