1. AMENITIES: Uhm, did you read what I had in the room?;) The free shuttle that runs between the Rio and Paris is absolutely perfect for getting you to and from the Strip.

4. The king bed was comfy with plenty of pillows, and the room included all of the expected amenities like a safe, iron, and mini refrigerator (in addition to the mini bar).

5. These Harrah's hotels promote themselves as not having a resort fee, but if I have to pay $13.99/day for internet access and $8 for coffee, I might as well pay a resort fee and have access to a few other amenities (like a gym), as well.

6. The check-in staff also failed to be very helpful regarding restaurant locations, amenities, deals, etc. - but they did keep that line moving.

8. This is now a reasonably priced 3-4 star property, with good amenities, and well-suited to someone who wants to be off-strip and either has their own transport or will use taxis to get around.
