3. I love the location, right in the middle of everything going on on the strip, it's right on the Monorail, it's got a shuttle to the Rio (great seafood buffet!) and the rooms cover your needs.

5. We used the shuttle to the Rio which was a nice freebie as we had tickets for Penn & Teller and the hotel also runs a shuttle to the airport for $7 each instead of being scammed by a taxi taking the tunnel.

6. The taxi ride here was $16 plus tip (we shared with a stranger in the taxi line so made it cheaper) We took the $7 pp shuttle back afterwards.

The good: 1) Location is perfect and centralized 2) Room is spacious and the beds are big too (for small sized Asians like myself) 3) Free shuttle to Rio (off the strip) 4) Short walk to bus stops (Deuce/SDX) 5) Walgreens 24/7 at the Palazzo nearby 6) McD next doors with free wifi 7) Hair dryer, iron, ironing board, safe and tv provided The bad: 1) Poor lighting and cleanliness.

8. I would also recommend staying off the strip at Red Rock, South Point or Green Valley Ranch they have everything you could possibly want and offer free shuttles to and from the strip.
